1490 Leonardo DaVinci's plan for a man-carrying ornithopter with flapping wings. They  built wings to strap onto their arm or machines with flapping wings called ornithopters. On the surface, it seemed like a good plan. After all, there are plenty of birds in the air to show that the concept does work. They fly above the edges of mountain and like a birds after they take off ground .

Montgolfire in  1783,  invented a hot air balloon. a few aeronauts made daring, uncontrolled flights in lighter-than-air balloons, filled with either hot air or hydrogen gas. But this was hardly a practical way to fly. There was no way to get from here to there unless the wind was blowing in the desired direction.

In 1799, George Cayley set forth the concept of the modern airplane as a fixed-wing flying machine with separate systems for lift, propulsion, and control. Cayley was building and flying models of fixed-wing aircraft as early as 1803, and he built a successful passenger-carrying glider in 1853

Sir George Cayley also built the first true airplane — a kite mounted on a stick with a movable tail. It was crude, but it proved his idea worked, and from that first humble glider evolved the amazing machines that have taken us to the edge of space at speeds faster than sound.

Two years of experimenting with gliders, however, demonstrated the need to pay considerably more attention to wing design. Beginning in November 1901, the Wright brothers used a wind tunnel of their own design to gather information that enabled them to calculate the values of lift and drag for an entire series of airfoils at various angles of attack and to measure the performance of wings with differing aspect ratios, tip shapes, and other design features. That information culminated in the Wright glider of 1902, a breakthrough machine whose wing design enabled the Wright brothers to take the final steps to the invention of the airplane.

Orville and Wilbur Wright were the inventors of the first airplane. On December 17, 1903, the Wright brothers launched the era of human flight when they successfully tested a flying vehicle that took off by its own power, flew naturally at even speeds, and descended without damage.

(Q) why aeroplane shadow not seen in ground?

We cant see aeroplane shadow because Any object which comes between path of light-ray casts shadow. But here, aeroplane is so far above the ground, that the light ray coming from sideways illuminates the shadow supposed to be casted on ground. If you go to airport and see an aeroplane on ground, you can see its shadow on the runway.

(Q) why plane sound so lound at night ?

During the day, when the air is warmer than the ground, noise energy from an airplane staying in the air, so while you can still hear it, it seems quieter. Conversely, at night, when the ground is warmer than the air, the noise is drawn down, making it seem louder.

(Q) why aeroplane make noise at take off ?

A moving aircraft causes friction and turbulence, which triggers sound waves. The sound of an aeroplane can be conveniently separated into two parts ; a hum, and the unmusical remainder which may be called a roar.

(Q) why aeroplane not make noise at sky by flying?

These thermal layers can affect the transmission of sound waves, making an aircraft seem quieter as it passes overhead, especially if it is at a high altitude. The sound travel less than light speed like In rain the lightning occurs first after that sound of cloud.
